I was excited to try something for cold sore treatment since I typically get them at least twice a year and have found that what I currently have been using was not very effective. I like that this is in individual applicators, then you do not have to touch the infected area leaving less chance of spreading your cold sore. I found that this was really easy to use too. I used this right away when I was getting the itching and tingling feeling on my lip. After I applied it my mouth felt much better right away. I did not have the nagging itchy burning on my lip after I did this. I only had to apply it one more time after the first application and it cleared up my cold sore right away. I think because I used this right away, it kept it from developing into a big sore and made it go away much faster. I think if I did not have this product on hand and already had a cold sore to treat, I would want to pick up more than one package of this since there are only 4 applicators in the package and you can use it up to 3 times a day. I found this to be very effective and easy to use, it was also a product that did not cause any more pain or irritation to my effective cold sore. With the individual applicators, I felt good knowing that I wasn't going to contaminate the rest of my treatment by using this over and over again on the infected part of my mouth.
