I am not a o.b. user, I typically buy tampons that come with an applicator. Since I always used other tampons, I had to really learn how to use these.
I did not have success at first, the tampon did not stay in and fell out. I was really used to using an applicator, but I was willing to keep trying these out. I know that they are so much better for the environment, being applicator free. I kept at it and ended up finding that they work really well.
I had to replace them more frequently than my brand of tampons just because I was having a heavier flow at the beginning of my period and did not have a super absorbency, just the regular tampon.
I think if I had a variety pack, they would of worked out fine for my entire period. I did find these to work out quite well on my lighter days. They were comfortable and eventually easy to use, (after I wasted a few getting the hang of them).
I do like the fact that there is less waste with this product. They are smaller so there is no applicator or big box and packages to end up in the landfill. They fit nicely in your pocket, purse, desk drawer or really anywhere. They are so small that they are really discrete to carry around.
I would definitely use these again since they were really effective and kept me from having any problems when I had my period.
I found the carrying case fits nicely into a pocket. I didn't have to worry about bulky tampons falling
out when I was walking around the office.
I kept my o.b. Tampons tucked away in my desk drawer at work.
They are small, so it is easy to fit them into my drawer.
